Ingredients
- 500g Greek yogurt
- 1 large cucumber
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- Black pepper
Instructions
- Grate the cucumber and place in a colander. Sprinkle with salt and let drain for 10 minutes.
- Squeeze out as much liquid as possible from the cucumber using your hands or a clean tea towel.
- In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, drained cucumber, garlic, dill, and mint.
- Add lemon juice and olive oil. Mix well to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix again.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve with grilled meats, vegetables, or as a dip with pita bread.
